Managed IT Services Century City
Managed IT and 24/7 security operations for the law firms, investment firms, business management companies, and agencies on and around Avenue of the Stars.
Century City firms do not buy IT support. They buy the ability to answer their clients’ and investors’ security questions with a yes. Outside counsel guidelines, limited partner due diligence questionnaires, SOC 2 requests from corporate clients, and cyber insurance applications arrive here more often than anywhere else in Los Angeles, and they land on people whose time bills at four figures an hour. We run the environment and maintain the evidence so a partner can hand the questionnaire to us and return to billable work.

Century City is where client security requirements arrive first
The towers along Avenue of the Stars, Constellation Boulevard, and Century Park East hold one of the largest concentrations of law firms outside Manhattan, alongside private equity and private credit firms, investment banks, business management and family office practices, talent and sports agencies, and the executive offices of studios and media companies on and around the Fox lot. The mid-sized firms among them are our clients: large enough to be audited and attacked, too small to staff a security team of their own.
Three documents define IT here. Outside counsel guidelines from corporate clients now routinely require MFA on every account, endpoint detection and response, encryption at rest and in transit, incident notification within 24 to 72 hours, and evidence of vendor security, often a SOC 2 report from the IT provider itself. Limited partner due diligence questionnaires ask investment firms the same questions in a different format. Cyber insurance applications ask them a third time, with coverage riding on the answers. Most Century City IT providers help firms fill out the forms. We make the answers true.
The practical problems are specific too: multi-office firms with attorneys in court, at home, and in the Century City office who need identical secure access; document management systems such as iManage and NetDocuments that need conditional access and audit trails; and a constant stream of wire instructions in real estate, M&A, and entertainment transactions that criminals target with impersonation email. Each of those is a solved problem in our environments, and solved the same way every time.
Who provides managed IT services in Century City?
CyberDuo provides managed IT services in Century City from its Los Angeles headquarters in Glendale. The firm is SOC 2 Type II attested and led by CISSP-certified engineers, runs a 24/7 helpdesk and in-house security operations center, and serves Century City law firms, private equity and credit firms, business management companies, and agencies, including firms with an in-house IT director. CyberDuo implements the controls that outside counsel guidelines, limited partner due diligence questionnaires, and cyber insurers require, on fully managed or co-managed terms.
Why Century City firms move their IT to CyberDuo
The trigger is usually a document, not an outage.
Guidelines or a DDQ cannot be answered honestly
A new institutional client sends guidelines requiring controls the firm does not have, and the partners discover their IT provider has no SOC 2 report and no evidence to offer. We implement the missing controls in weeks and provide our own SOC 2 Type II report under NDA for the vendor section.
A wire instruction nearly went to a criminal
Impersonation email aimed at a closing is the most common attack on Century City firms. We deploy inline email security, enforce MFA, watch sign-ins through our SOC, and help build out-of-band verification into the firm’s payment workflow, because tooling alone does not stop a convincing email.
The IT director needs a bench behind them
A firm’s IT director handles strategy, applications, and vendors but cannot staff a 24/7 helpdesk or a security operations center. Our co-managed model adds both under a written responsibility matrix, so the director keeps control and gains capacity.

The firms that make up most of our Century City work
Century City’s firms share a client base of institutions that audit their vendors, and that shapes everything we build. Firms outside the categories below face the same vendor reviews and are supported in the same way.
Litigation, transactional, entertainment, and real estate practices in the Avenue of the Stars and Constellation Boulevard towers, supported to the standard their clients’ guidelines require.
Fund managers and credit firms with LP due diligence obligations, portfolio company access to govern, and deal teams working from anywhere.
Business managers, family offices, and wealth advisers handling payments and investments for high-profile clients, with Regulation S-P alignment and wire fraud defenses.
Agencies, management firms, and studio-adjacent executive offices whose client lists and deal terms are confidential by definition.
Advisory, valuation, and consulting practices whose engagements are governed by client confidentiality and vendor security requirements.

From Glendale, the drive is typically 30 to 40 minutes via the 134, 101, and 405, or along surface streets when the freeways are congested. Same-day onsite support is standard, and we schedule recurring onsite days for firms that want a known engineer in the office each week.

Century City managed IT services: frequently asked questions
How much do managed IT services cost in Century City?
Los Angeles managed IT pricing in 2026 runs from $125 to $250 per user per month for a comprehensive service. Century City law and investment firms typically fall in the upper half of that range because document management systems, compliance evidence, multi-office access, and higher expectations for response all add scope. Our quotes include the security stack from the start; co-managed arrangements are scoped on their own terms. See our Los Angeles pricing guide.
Can you provide a SOC 2 report for our client's vendor review?
Yes. Our SOC 2 Type II report is provided under NDA, along with written control descriptions for your specific environment. Together they usually satisfy the IT vendor section of outside counsel guidelines and due diligence questionnaires without further follow-up.
How do you handle outside counsel guidelines?
We maintain a control matrix for each set of guidelines your firm is bound by, implement any gaps, and keep the evidence current. When new guidelines arrive, we compare them against what already exists; most requirements overlap, so the incremental work is usually small.
What do you do about wire fraud and impersonation email?
A layered approach: inline email security that inspects for impersonation, enforced MFA, SOC monitoring for suspicious sign-ins, awareness training for the staff who process payments, and a verification procedure that confirms any change to wire instructions by phone using a known number. Tooling reduces the risk substantially; the procedure is what catches the message that gets through.
Do you support iManage, NetDocuments, and other legal applications?
Yes. We manage identity and conditional access for the document management system, the devices that connect to it, and the integrations with Microsoft 365, and we coordinate with the application vendor on upgrades and incidents. Application-level configuration remains with the vendor or your administrator.
Can you work alongside our IT director?
Yes, and for most Century City firms of your size that is the right structure. The director keeps strategy, applications, and vendor relationships; we add the 24/7 helpdesk, the security operations center, the security tooling, and senior engineers for escalations and projects, with responsibilities written into the agreement.
How quickly can you be onsite in Century City?
Same day. The drive from our headquarters takes 30 to 40 minutes, and firms that want a predictable presence can schedule a recurring onsite day. The majority of tickets close remotely within minutes, so visits are reserved for hardware, moves, and planned work.
Do you take standalone projects?
No. Projects and assessments are delivered within a managed or co-managed engagement rather than as one-time work; smaller projects are included at no extra charge and larger migrations are scoped as statements of work inside the engagement. That structure keeps us accountable for the environment after the project closes.
