Managed IT Services for Entertainment & Media
A leaked cut or a stalled render does not wait for a support ticket. CyberDuo runs and protects the technology behind production and post: content held to studio security standards, edit and render pipelines that stay up, and engineers who pick up fast when you are against a delivery date. We work with studios, production and post houses, agencies, and creative companies across California and New York.
Annual cost of digital piracy to the global media industry, projected to reach $125B by 2028.
Industry estimate, 2025
TPN issued more content-security alerts in early 2026 than in all of 2025, driven by credential attacks and unpatched systems.
MPA / TPN STAR Report, 2026
Disney, Netflix, Warner Bros, and Amazon require a TPN assessment before vendors touch pre-release content.

A story that leaks before release is one you cannot sell twice.
In entertainment the asset is the content, and its value can evaporate the moment it leaks. Add render farms that cannot sit idle and studios that vet your security before they hand you a single frame, and ordinary IT does not cut it.
The leak is the loss
Pre-release content is the prize, and a single leaked cut can gut a launch. Piracy already drains an estimated $75 billion a year from the industry, and credential theft is now the leading way in.
Studios vet you first
Major studios require a TPN assessment against MPA Content Security Best Practices before vendors handle their content. Pass it and you make the list. Fail it and the work goes elsewhere.
Idle pipelines burn money
When the render farm, the MAM, or the edit bays go down, the whole schedule slips. We engineer for throughput and uptime, and we respond fast when a delivery is due.

The standards we build your environment around
We design and document your setup around the content-security expectations studios hold vendors to. Expand any to see how.
The MPA’s Content Security Best Practices (currently v5.3.1) are the control framework for handling pre-release content, mapped to ISO 27001 and NIST. We build your environment to those controls across people, workflow, and technology, so handling studio content is not a scramble each time a project lands.
The Trusted Partner Network, run by the MPA, assesses vendors against those best practices through a tiered shield program (Blue, Silver, Gold, Gold Star). We prepare you for the assessment, close the gaps assessors look at most (vulnerability management, access control, endpoint hardening), and help you maintain the posture between reviews. We build the controls; the assessment and shield are issued by TPN, not by us.
Beyond TPN, individual studios send their own security questionnaires and requirements before engaging a vendor. We help you answer them accurately and stand behind the answers with real controls, so security speeds up the deal instead of stalling it.
If you sell tickets, merch, or subscriptions, PCI DSS governs how card data is handled. We scope your environment to reduce what falls in range and lock down what remains.
Agencies and media companies handling audience, subscriber, or campaign data carry obligations under California privacy law. We build data handling that lines up with CCPA and CPRA.
Platforms and enterprise partners increasingly want a SOC 2 report rather than a verbal assurance. We hold our own operations to SOC 2 Type II and get you ready for yours.

Every corner of the business has its own pressures
How we work with each. Expand the one that fits you.
Productions spin up fast, run hot, and wrap. We stand up secure, content-ready infrastructure for the shoot, handle on-set support, and tear it down cleanly, with the controls studios expect throughout.
Post houses live on render and storage performance and cannot afford a leak. We keep pipelines fast, segment and protect content, and prepare you for the TPN assessment your studio clients require.
Content owners need both strong internal security and confidence in their vendors. We secure your environment and help you raise the bar across the partners who touch your content.
Agencies hold sensitive deals, contracts, and client data that attract targeted attacks and BEC. We lock down email and documents and keep a fast-moving office productive and protected.
Unreleased tracks leak the same way films do. We protect masters and sessions, secure collaboration with artists and producers, and keep recording and mixing systems available.
Game studios protect source, assets, and unreleased builds across distributed teams. We secure the pipeline and the endpoints and keep build and test environments running.
Agencies juggle client assets, campaign data, and tight deadlines. We protect client material, meet the security terms in client contracts, and keep creative teams moving.
Animation runs long pipelines and heavy render loads with content under wraps for years. We keep render and storage fast, protect assets, and support distributed artists.
Digital media platforms balance uptime, subscriber data, and content rights. We harden infrastructure and identity, protect viewer data under privacy law, and keep services available.
Live operations cannot fail at showtime, often in temporary venues. We provide resilient connectivity, secure ticketing and payments, and fast support on the ground.
