We have some news we are proud of: CyberDuo has been named to Cloudtango’s MSP Select USA 2026 list, which recognizes the top-performing managed service providers in the United States.

If you are a client, this recognition belongs to you as much as to us, and we will explain why in a moment. If you are evaluating IT providers, here is what this award actually measures and why it is worth paying attention to when you compare companies.

What MSP Select is

Cloudtango is an independent platform that helps businesses find and evaluate managed service providers, and every year it analyzes MSPs across the country to select the top performers. This is not a pay-to-play badge. Selection is based on Cloudtango’s technical analysis of each provider’s real track record.

For the 2026 edition, that analysis focused on the areas that matter most to businesses right now: cybersecurity, quality of support, infrastructure capability, the strategic use of AI to improve efficiency, and demonstrated trends in business growth and customer satisfaction. In Cloudtango’s words, being selected reflects an excellent track record of delivering innovative IT services while exceeding customer expectations.

Those criteria describe exactly what we have built CyberDuo around, which is why this particular recognition means something to us.

Why this one matters to us

Plenty of industry awards exist, and frankly some are easier to get than others. What we like about this one is what it weighs. Cybersecurity is the first criterion on the list, not an afterthought, and that mirrors how we have operated since 2005: security first, with our own in-house 24/7 Security Operations Center behind every client, rather than security as an add-on product.

The customer satisfaction component matters even more to us. Awards based on analyst criteria are nice. Recognition that rests partly on what clients actually experience, the response times, the resolved issues, the relationships, is the kind we want to earn. One of our clients, the Director of IT at Homeless Health Care Los Angeles, described our work during an emergency engagement as exceptional, and that engagement, stepping in fast, closing the gaps, and getting them above the required standard, is a better picture of who we are than any badge.

So to our clients: thank you. Every recognition like this is downstream of the trust you put in us and the work we do together. You are the track record.

What this means if you are shopping for an IT provider

A third-party evaluation like MSP Select is one useful signal when you are comparing providers, because it is based on analysis rather than a sales pitch. But we would tell you the same thing we always tell prospective clients: no badge replaces asking hard questions. Ask any provider you are evaluating whether their security operations are in-house or outsourced, what their guaranteed response times are, and what happens in the first hour of an incident. We wrote a full guide on how to choose a managed IT provider with the questions that actually separate providers, and we are happy to answer every one of them about ourselves.

The short version of our answers: cybersecurity-first since 2005, an in-house 24/7 SOC, SOC 2 Type II attested, a 10-minute average response time, and deep experience with regulated businesses in healthcare, financial services, and law firms. You can see the full picture on our managed IT services and cybersecurity services pages.

Onward

Recognition is a checkpoint, not a finish line. We will keep investing in the things that earned it: our SOC, our people, our response standards, and the security posture of every client we serve, from our home base serving businesses across Los Angeles to clients in Orange County and San Diego.

If you want an IT partner with a track record that independent analysts and, more importantly, clients will vouch for, we would love to talk.
